MILJENKO BAJAT, organ
Organist Miljenko Bajat, originally from Korčula but living in Zadar, graduated in music pedagogy from Art Academy in Split, received academic degrees of organ teaching and organ performance in the class of Prof. Mario Penzar from the Music Academy in Zagreb, and completed an MA in organ in 2005. He teaches at the St Benedict Elementary Music School in Zadar. The cycle Più Mosso features performances of Johann Sebastian Bach's works by young local musicians. Bajat will play the large organ from the workshop of Wolfgang Eisenbarth inside the St Anastasia Cathedral interpret Partita and fugue in G minor 542, Canonic Variations on Vom Himmel hoch, da komm ich her, BWV 769, Sonata VI in G, BWV 530, Partitena koral Seigegrüßet, Jesugütig, BWV 768 and Passacaglia in C BWV 582.
