Debut album promotion
Elena Stella presents her debut vocal-instrumental album in collaboration with the Ante Jeličić sextet. This album brings eight new original compositions, created from the synergy of music and poetry, which explore different thematic worlds - from intimate emotions and personal reflections to contemporary social motifs and universal questions of man and the times we live in.
The project is special in its intention to affirm the Croatian language in contemporary jazz expression, a musical genre that is rarely associated with vocal performances in the Croatian language. That is why this album represents an important contribution to the development of the domestic jazz scene and proves how the Croatian language can sound natural, poetic and rhythmic within a modern jazz framework.
The music is by Ante Jeličić, pianist, composer and arranger, while the author of all the lyrics and performer is Elena Stella.
The promotion of the album “Elena” represents a project that brings to the audience a combination of contemporary jazz expression, original lyrics in the Croatian language and a recognizable vocal style, thereby contributing to the development of the domestic contemporary music scene.
The audience will have the opportunity to experience the premiere performance of all eight compositions live, performed by an exceptional ensemble that combines experience, freshness, and sincere artistic passion.
