VALENTINE'S DAY IN PALACES
RUNDEK DUO
Darko Rundek, vocal, guitar
Ana Kovačić, saksofon
Rundek Duo consists of Ana Kovačić and Darko Rundek.
Ana and Darko perform together in EKIPA (The Crew), a sextet that gathered in 2017 to mark the twentieth anniversary of the album Apokalipso, and in the quartets in which Rundek increasingly performs in search of simplicity and a more intimate relationship with the audience.
The Duo is the ultimate form of that search.
Ana plays the alto saxophone with sound effects and the ukulele, while Darko plays classical guitar and sings.
The repertoire mainly consists of Rundek's more introspective compositions, but also includes those that the audience will sing along to. Ana's saxophone easily conveys the characteristic wind lines, but also virtuously leads us into exciting musical adventures.
Their music is for focused listening and socializing, but if they wish, the two of them will effortlessly lead us through the greatest hits, as their repertoire is rich and diverse.
