On the occasion of 70 years of life and 50 years of career of Ljubomir Gašparović, pianist, full professor at the Academy of Music in Zagreb, restorer and together with his son Daniel the owner of the most valuable and largest collection of historical pianos in this part of Europe, piano duo Gašparović will present the monumental Fantasy of Franz Schubert, arguably the most complex work for piano four hands; a selection of wildly popular Hungarian dances by Johannes Brahms; the fantastic suite Ma mère l'Oye by Maurice Ravel, originally written as a five-part work for piano four hands, and the Dance Suite by Papandopulo, a work that evokes the traditional dances of his time.
