The distinctive voice of Maja Rivić is most commonly associated with the activities of the jazz/world music group Mimika Orchestra. For her quintet, Maja Rivić has gathered some of the finest individuals to be found on the Croatian jazz scene. Her original project, The Second Sun (Drugo sunce), bears witness to her multifaceted interests, which also include performative experimental formats such as those she presented at her solo exhibitions within the New Media Department at the Academy of Fine Arts.
